The file menu allows you to create a new datafile, open an existing one, backup/import/export a datafile, setup and use a printer or exit from Trust Accounts.

New - Creates a new database

Open - This window allows you to select an existing database or configure a new database.

Info -  The Options tab displays the program options available in the current version of Trust Accounts and shows those that are currently installed or enabled.

Import - This option retrieves clients or Common File data into the Trust Accounts database. The data must have been previously saved in an import file using the option Export Data.

Export - This option allows an client or Common File export file to be produced. This file can then be loaded onto another database via the Import routine.

Zip - This option extracts all the data relating to a client, including account pages and data in Statutory Database and saves it in a zip file. The data can then be retrieved again in another Trust Accounts database using the File > Unzip option. It is mainly used to copy a client from one Trust Accounts database to another, or to send it in to te Support team for investigation.

Unzip - This option retrieves a client (or clients) into the Trust Accounts database. The client must have been previously saved in a Zip file using the option Zip Client

Printer Setup - For printing reports from Trust Accounts

Log out - Logs the current user out of the system

Exit - Closes Trust Accounts
