Add Lloyd's Foreign Dividends Interest and Other Savings Income

Use the following steps to complete the Dividends, Interest or Other tab within the Lloyd's Foreign Dividends Interest and Other Savings Income section.

To Add Foreign Dividends, Interest, or Other Savings Income:

The Dividends, Interest or Other tab should be selected.

  1. Select the relevant fund from the Lloyd's funds pull-down.

  2. Do one of the following:

  • (Dividends and Other tab only) Select the company making the payment from the Company name drop-down or type the name.
  • (Interest tab only) Select the source of the payment from the Source drop-down or type the name.
  1. From the Description drop-down select the class of the holding or share type. You can also type your own description.

  2. Use the Country drop-down to select where the income originates from.

  3. In Date Commenced, enter the purchase date. This date must not be after the current tax year.

  4. If applicable, enter the date the shares were sold in Date Disposed. This automatically selects Roll-forward, deselect it if you do not want to roll this source forward to the next tax year.

  5. (Dividends and Interest tabs only) When you import data from CCH SecTAX then 'Imported from SecTAX' is automatically selected.

Note: You cannot edit data imported from CCH SecTAX within CCH Personal Tax.

  1. Complete the following at the bottom of tab:

  • Quantity
  • Date paid
  • Amount before tax
  • Foreign tax
  • UK tax
  1. Clicked Saved.
