Using the Maintenance > Assignments > Job Modes window you can select the setting you want to apply to assignments in Central. These options are available only during implementation. Once a selection is made, CCH Central will display the options available for the selected job mode throughout the practice.
The two job modes in Central are:
- Assignments: Select to allow users to create assignments in Central.
- Assignments and Jobs: Select to allow users to create assignments and jobs in Central. Jobs will be used for deadline management. Time will be recorded and posted to the assignment.
You must not change the Job Mode once Timesheet and Billing entries have been posted.
