How to allocate work from a Schedule


The manager can allocate work from the Assignment Schedule window. Changes are made in the Allocations window and are reflected in the Employee Planner.

  1. Find the Assignment.

  2. The Client's Assignment Details page appears.

  3. Click the Schedule tab.
    The Schedule page for the Client appears.

  1. Select the Schedule you want from the drop-down menu.


  2. Select the stage that you want to allocate resources to.

  3. Click Allocations under Schedules in the Task Bar.
    The Allocations window appears.


  1. Click the ellipses button in the Allocations window.
    The Find Employee window appears.

  2. Find the Employee.
    The employee's name appears in the  Employee Name field.

    Type the staff member's name or the first 3 or 4 letters of their name in the Search for field. Click the Search button.


  1. Press the [Tab] key.
    The remaining fields in the Allocations window dynamically update.


If the employee's category does not exist in the stage, the Stage Category won't be displayed for the employee.

  1. Modify the Hours Allocated if necessary.

  2. Modify the Due Start date if it is not the expected start date of the task.

  3. Press the [Tab] key (or the [Enter] key) until the employee's details appear below the line you are currently in.

  4. Repeat steps 5 to 10 until all the work is allocated.

  5. Close the Allocations window by clicking the close button in the top right hand corner of the window.

  6. Close the Schedule window by clicking OK.
