Adding documents

Before you can add documents your system administrator should have completed all required tasks to configure CCH Document Management for your organization. Contact your system administrator if a warning message appears when you try to add a document.

Ways to Add Documents


To quickly add documents within Central use the Upload button on the Ribbon bar in the following areas:

  • Find Clients
  • Find Contacts
  • Find Employees
  • Find Suppliers
  • Global Documents (Document Centre)
  • Client Document Centre
  • Contact Document Centre
  • Employee Document Centre
  • Supplier Document Center

Other ways to add documents are:

  • From Microsoft Outlook
  • From Microsoft Word or Excel
  • Right click Send to in Windows Explorer
  • Via the Watch Folder
